This place is stunningly beautiful nestled in the rolling hills with cattle and vineyards. It's a sight to behold smokiness around the slot. Machines is a bit much but the food was excellent. Everybody I dealt with there was very polite and very courteous. Staff was excellent. I would go here again

Great course overall. Layout is nice it's in great shape. They'll start you on 10 early in the morning for dew delay which i don't like as it doesn't allow a flow to get started but I understand it

Overall, you get what you pay for. Very scenic, challenging course that’s fun to play. However, what I did not pay for was the rudeness of the staff. This was our first time and when we asked where certain things were, like the carts and (free) driving range, I was given an answer as if I just offended them and I was wasting their time. Around hole 7, the ranger informed our foursome we were “10 minutes behind” and the twosome behind us were consistently waiting. We offered for them to pass as there was another foursome a few holes behind them, but we were shunned and told to golf faster. They proceeded to follow us to the turn, hurry us up with our food order, and told us it would be delivered. On hole 11, the ranger told us the same thing. After some convincing that a twosome plays faster than a foursome, we were allowed to let them play through. As we finished the round, there were multiples occasions where we were waiting on the twosome. I did not pay this much to be scolded, treated with an attitude, and overall demeaned throughout the round. I will not be back until they do an overhaul of the staff.

One of the best courses in the Bay Area. The course is challenging and is in great shape. Pro shop is well stocked and a very friendly staff. From the parking lot to the first tee is an excellent experience. Heading back next week!

I had some high expectations before my round today because a number of my friends have had nothing but great things to say about this course. It sure lived up to the hype. The staff throughout the course was top notch, all the way from the pro-shop, starter, outdoor crew to the marshal. The practice facilities are great. Nice driving range with equally great mats if you're not hitting off the grass. The short game area is well put together and allows you to practice those tough pitch shot distances that are normally too long for your local practice area. They have a number of putting greens, but the one on top of the hill right next to the first tee is my favorite because of the views. The course itself is tough but fair and in perfect condition. The greens are great and play at a fair speed. I live in the east bay so it was certainly an all day affair to get up and back home but it's worth it and a fun destination spot. The group I went with was thinking of coming back and staying a night with our significant others to check out the spa and casino as well. I highly recommend the course and thinks it's a must try for any serious golfer in the bay area.
