Great course, but everytime I’ve played the pace is horrendous. Will have two groups on same tee box waiting and you can groups ahead with two holes wide open. I’ve never seen a ranger and if you talk about slow play at the turn they just shrug.
It’s a shame as would like to play here more but can be unbearable

spoke with Robert at the pro shop this morning and asked if it would be possible to play 5some best ball and he had a very condescending attitude and was very rude.
I get that most places don’t allow that, but there’s no need for the smart Alec responses

*This place is an absolute gem of a golf course. Framed as a links course, it's a place offering quite a few blind shots off the tee and sometimes from the fairways. I'd recommend playing with someone who knows the course. But if you can remember a conversation, the head pro, Robert Costello will engage you in a simply wonderful conversation and give you the tiny bits you need to take advantage on certain holes. I'm a 9-handicap. I was quick to discover that adding a club and dialing down my swing out me in the best spots. You don't want to be left or right on several holes. At my club, hit the rough and you usually find 2 or 3 other bals but not your own. Not the case here. They don't have a polished yardage book but the free course guide is ample enough if you're playing your first round blind. They don't sell aiming fluid or swing lube and have no problem if you bring a cooler.
Practice: Full driving range and putting green that warm your entire game up.
Course: Fairways are like carpet. I didn't have a bad lie in any fairway I hit. Rough: Manageable....1/16th of an inch off of the rough? @#$%
Greens: First, the putting green was exactly as true as the entire course. Consistent and pristine, they each rolled true. Pay attention as pin placements can be in tough spots. Also, a couple of greens have a false front that'll take your ball into a 30-yard uphill chip situation. The back 9 has a par three that has a bit of false left side/front quadrant. Buy me a beer and tell you what you're supposed to do. I love the undulating and rolling fairways. A few holes have elevated tee boxes that bring mountain golf courses to mind.
I can't close this review without saying that I have to go back to Prospect Kentucky and play this unique and exceptional course. Hats off to Pro Robert Costello for running a golf facility that gets everything right.
For me, GPS means: Go. Play. Smile. This place gets my highest GPS score.

In early Spring 2021, I signed my son up to start playing golf in the Junior PGA league run by the head pro, Robert Costello. I also started having him take lessons from Coach Robert as well. I cannot say enough good things about both Coach Robert and the course itself. He is the best kids golf coach I've ever met. I actually took a lesson from him and now my wife is getting ready to start taking lessons from him. The course is extremely well maintained. It has good holes with minimal blind shots, which I like. The greens are nice and the practice area is large. If you're looking for an activity for your kid or a good day out on the course with your buddies, this is the place to go. Coach Robert is an incredible instructor!

Recent June 2022 visit, fairways and greens were in great shape, really solid course with a great layout... No alcohol sales so BYOB, also no real food besides snacks, hot dogs and tiny cold cuts lol
Great layout, the bunkers were phenomenal!!! Especially for November... The rest of the course was in good shape, greens weren't too fast but they rolled true so all good... recommend playing at least once if you enjoy links style layout... Greens have plenty of options for pin placements with subtle undulations but overall pretty small so irons need to be on point
