We thought this course was spectacular. Beautiful vistas, every hole cleverly designed and the staff were friendly and helpful. I’ve played Royal Troon and Gleneagles (Scotland) and this course is one of my favourites. Definitely worth the visit.

1. Quintero is quite the drive outside of Phoenix.
2. Quintero was $270 and it had no club house... I don't mind paying large green fees but they usually include picturesque places to have a beer while our group waited.
3. The course itself was amazing. Except for the greens.
4.Overall staff was friendly. Course had plenty of wildlife. Including road runners, wild burros and javalies.
5. Course was incredibly difficult. I found myself in the sand more than in Cancun. Deep bunkers surround greens and fairways.
6. Overall I would not do it again but our group as a whole had their reservations about the course.

All of these 1 star reviews had me spooked coming in this year as we have played Quintero every year for the past 4. Course is still amazing and while the bunkers could use some love the fairways and greens were in great condition.
This is a bucket list place and worth the money as a golf traveler. This year we stayed on property which was also a very cool experience the night before our tee time. Played 36 on their replay rate.

Golf experience is 5 Stars, consistency is the key at this unbelievable course crafted by nature & beautiful design. Come prepared to play and have fun. Quintero is amazing! The back 9 will take your breath away, hole 16 especially. Expertly managed you are in for a great experience!
It is 7 minutes from the pro shop to the first tee. The breakfast burritos are a must have. They are made from scratch, it takes 10 minutes, they are worth it !So I kindly suggest going Early! Practice facility is amazing as well. The value at Quintero is in the service you will receive & the experience!
We had a fricking blast!
Cheers to you Quintero!

This was so sad. Everyone we talked to told us how great this golf course was, and how much they loved it. Course conditions were terrible. Greens - terrible. Bunkers -terrible. We were so excited to play it, and the 7 people I brought with me all gave me a hard time for 5 days because I included Quintero on our trip. Club house smelled like farts, bathrooms were gross, course was in awful condition. Their "GM" emailed me for a review of our experience, I replied, with no response. They should be ashamed for what they charged us to come play this course an hour away from the rest of the world to come play on a course that they forgot to take care of. Spend your money somewhere else and enjoy AZ.
