Second time playing here and blown away by the conditions and presentation at each hole. Pace of play was slow, but staff and rangers were on the foursome slowing everyone down. Definitely in my top 3 courses played in MN. Can’t wait to be back.

Golf course is an excellent layout and in very good condition. A great match play course perfect for the MGA Championships we conducted. The staff, lead by PGA Professional Mark Neva and GCSAA Superintendent Ed Thomas are awesome to work with. I highly recommend playing there.

Deacon's is a phenomenal golf experience. We stay at one of the on property villas once a year (great accommodations for large groups) and play a Saturday round. The course is always in fantastic shape, there are some of the most picturesque holes in Minnesota and the staff is very accommodating. A large number of tee options - it can play very long if you choose to. Overall, a great destination course.

Deacon's lodge has to be one of my favorite courses to play. It can be a challenging course to play. We played two times during our yearly golf trip this year. One of the guys were saying that they were in a drought, but the course and greens were in great condition. The one problem we ran into was a lot of people not replacing divot marks, and your ball may roll into a big divot.

This course is worth all the hype. Privately tucked away in the woods with a fully loaded free practice nook to take advantage of right before you begin one of the funnest rounds you can play in Minnesota. Honestly one of the best maintained course I've played in a long time, nothing was undone or out of place. Massive fairways, sloping bunkers and woods and water galore makes this one of Minnesotas most scenic courses out there. Long carries, funneling fairways, and tall grass everywhere will give you quite a bit of trouble on every other hole. It's not an easy round by any means, but we'll worth the test. Would recommend this course to any golf enthusiasts. One of the top 5 courses I've played in Minnesota.
