Madden's On Gull Lake

Beautiful place, right on the lake. Even got lucky enough to have a fireplace in our room. Great location, great staff. Thank you.

We made an honest mistake and had to cancel our reservation for June for our 3 families for our annual summer retreat. We were first timers at Maddens but had stayed there various times on our own. When we tried to cancel with two months plus notice they kept $400+ of our deposit. We asked if it can be applied to next year when we would easily spend $3000-$4000 with them. They refused. We are out $400+ and they make that money plus resell the room. A total ripoff! Please be careful when making your reservation! They won’t work with you and don’t have a heart. We will never stay there and we’ll encourage everyone we know not to stay there either. So sad. They don’t care about anybody but themselves. Shameful!

I visited maddens for a conference on children with special needs. The staff was incredibly accommodating and professional. The rooms or in my case cabin was incredible; I have no complaints for the resort and highly recommend visiting with your family if you got a conference or even just for fun and play some golf.

The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. I also loved the variety of activities — from paddleboarding and boating to enjoying a peaceful spa afternoon. The Classic golf course is world-class, and even as casual golfers, we had a blast. Madden’s isn’t just a place to stay — it’s a full experience.

Maddens on Gull Lake is amazing! I own Jeff Dose Photography and had such a good experience at Maddens last time I was there photographing a wedding! Their pavilion area is new and beautiful. There is so much for your guests and wedding party to do and see. The staff are delightful and there are endless opportunities for photos! I can't wait to shoot there again!
