Incredible course for a very reasonable price! This course plays like a $250 course anywhere down south or in other locations. I love how true the greens roll and as the summer goes on you sometimes have to play unique strategic putts which adds a whole new element to the fun of golf. We come up from Duluth a few times a year and hope to make it up a bit more and it is in great shape and it is still the end of May. Awesome work guys! Food is good at restaurant in the clubhouse as well.

Growing up and always hearing about this course being a gem up north MN. I played it for the first time in June of 22', and course was in phenomenal condition. Not too much elevation besides a few holes off the tee and minimal blind tee shots, which really makes the course enjoyable for the first time. The ONLY downside is the carts have no GPS installed. Yardage books were provided. A day or weekend trip from the Twin cities was with no regret after experiencing this masterpiece of land within the iron range.

Pure artistic, architectural genius, leaving nature seemingly uninterrupted! This course is a perfect example of how some great architects can make courses look like they've belonged there the entire time. Cut so perfectly into the landscape, you realize almost immediatly your truly in golf heaven. Very friendly complimentary staff and service. Insane, dramatic elevation changes everywhere you look and all types of places to lose your balls. Immaculate greens and large rolling fairways with large steep white sand bunkers everywhere. This course is a definite bucket list course and an absolute must if you live in the midwest, you will not be disappointed. It has been MN#1 for a long time and I see why in full. Loved every minute of my round and am considering making the trip to Giants Ridge every year.

Spectacular! There is little I can contribute to hyping up this course. It is ranked in the top 100 courses in the US and the best public course in Minnesota. What more can I say? It is a must play. It is worth every penny. And is absolutely worth the trek up north!

I'm going to cover the golf here first. The design is excellent; so many unique holes that I can honestly say I've never seen anything like before. The conditioning was very good and the scenery is spectacular on the 18th. I can see why golf writers and raters like it so much. I have heard, however, stories from the locals about how the staff treated golfers last year when conditions were bad. It's disappointing to hear discounted rates weren't offered for damaged greens and fairways.
