Had a great time with friends. The greens were amazing , we got here, winds were 23+ mph, just like in South Texas, so there's no big difference. Loved it, staff was friendly.

Overall decent golf course. Challenging with water hazards and bunkers. The golf shop isn’t great but works. The greens could have been better. This is better than mallard golf course.

Very proud to play our annual golf tournament at Contraband. This past weekend was our 19th annual trip and Scott and his team didn't disappoint. The course is regularly in excellent shape and the staff is great! See you guys next year at our 20th! If not before!

This is the course I learned to play golf back in 2005. I always loved the layout and played teice a week for years. It was nice to play it again and see how far along I have come in my golfing journey. I would give the course a better review than the customer service. DO NOT RENT CLUBS AT THIS COURSE. It is embarrassing for $85. The set looks like it was put together from lost clubs. Then I came back to the clubhouse, and I left the clubs in the cart for them to check. The lady at the desk with attitude tells me I have to go back out and bring them in. The rest of the interaction was very awkward to get my DL back. I would suggest the golf shop people should be better trained in customer service.
