Updated June 2022: What an amazing layout secretly tucked away in Sumter, SC. Unique undulations, elevations, sand traps right where you don’t want them to be…the redesign on this course is great. Every hole presents its own challenges. Playable yet punishing, forcing accuracy and a few new shots into your game to score well. My crew of scratch to 18+ handicappers thoroughly enjoyed it. The clubhouse sits atop a hill providing sweeping views of just about every pin on the course, creating a unique view rarely seen in golf today. If you get the opportunity to play this course, don’t turn it down, you won’t be disappointed. You may get “Quixote’d” a few times going from one green side shot to another, but you’ll want to come back for more!
