I love this course. 60 rounds last year and played this second most. Great conditions, layout, and staff. My favorite course North of Boston.
The 4 stars is due to their new policy of not allowing single bookings online. I used to play every Saturday morning in the Spring and Fall. Probably not any more due to the new policy. I never played alone and never took up space that would have deterred them cashing in on a 4 some instead. Always paired with other singles or a group of two. Extremely disappointing and inconsistent with what I thought this course was about.
UPDATE- The course responded and helped to assist with my one gripe. True class act organization and fantastic golf sanctuary.

A wonderful hidden gem of a course. It's a great track for a new or experienced golfer with blind tee shots and dog legs or water carries, but also some really wide open holes with low slope ratings. I rented clubs here and they have an amazing lineup of mizuno JPX 923s which performed beautifully. The course was in great shape, staff was so helpful and accommodating and the food at the turn was delicious and fairly priced

I wanted to get 18 holes in and decided to try out this course. I was pleasantly surprised with the picturesque views immediately upon driving up. The staff was very nice which is a plus cause some courses can have snobby employees thinking they're at Augusta or the Masters.
The course was pretty open so it played well for all skill levels. The rate of play was excellent too as we only waited a minute or two here or there.
We finished the day with having lunch there. The food was great and very reasonably priced.
I will definitely go back!

Fantastic course! It starts with the owners and the amazing staff that make this course one of the best in the area!! I have played many courses and there is not a golf course that treats the players like that of a private course. From checkin, rangers and starters and then most of all, the course conditions are amazing!! I want to recognize guys like Steve, Frank, Dick, Ted, Ian, Roy and multiple Paul’s who make this course a place you should want to play!! And last but not least Kim who always makes the rounds with the drink cart!!

The course was in great shape. Greens had some maintenance work being done, but it was still fun to play them. Tees were well placed. The pin selection was spicy! Food cart was around on a regular basis and well stocked. Proshop had everything you could need, and the bar food was tasty beer was cold. Will be back for sure!
