Fortunate to get tee time, they had a cancellation. Great course with wonderful scenic views of region, who says Nebraska is flat. 2-3 club wind the day I played, was challenging but fair, wide fairways, huge greens with lots of undulation. Course in great shape. They space tee times at 15 minute intervals, which made round more enjoyable. I would love to play again if I get the opportunity.

"The hills are alive with the sound of golf..." If anyone knows that old song that I just ripped off... then at least you can appreciate the reference. If you love golf, when you are moving through the hills of Landmand...you just might want to break out in song....it's that inspiring....AND....that different. I've played several other sand hills courses...but NOTHING...and I mean NOTHING....has the land movement of Landmand. It is absolutely unique, and exhilarating. It's fun. It's quirky. But it's still very good and challenging golf. You will NEVER forget a round at Landmand...that's a promise! One other thing. There was a misunderstanding at the beginning of the morning. But Justin "JB" stepped in and went above and beyond to make things right. That's outstanding service and I think you'll find that to be the norm. Find the time and go. It's worth the trip, whatever you have to do to make it.

Landmand blew away my expectations. This place is like a "kid in a candy shop" feeling for golfers. The imagination and shot shaping required here is like nothing I've ever experienced and I've played golf all over the country (college and mini tours). The staff was awesome and very accommodating. The walk up song off #1 tee was such a vibe and the margaritas at the clubhouse are top notch, made fresh. We also stayed in the cabins and brought a flat top griddle grill and made steaks and smores at night. Truly unbelievable trip and can't wait to go back.

What can be said about Landmand Golf Club that hasn't already been said? The place is incredible and on a scale of nothing I've played before. The course feels like it's been there forever; I suppose in a sense, it has been. You can watch all the YouTube videos and Instagram videos you want. Read as many tips and play thrus as you can find. None of it quote captures the raw essence of Landmand. This afternoon was as picture perfect as it gets here. Hardly any wind and when it was felt, it w as only on our face on 2 holes it seemed. Unfortunately for us, one of those holes was the 215y par 3 5th with a back pin. The par 3s here are diabolical and will eat you alive if you aren't careful! Crazy enough, the tiny 100y 8th gave us all the most fits! The 220y 14th redan might have been one of the best par 3s I've played anywhere! With little wind today, from the white tees there were 3 reachable par 4s at 4, 7 and 17. I learned getting there in 1 was the easy part compared to converting the achievement into circles on the scorecard. I was 2/3 with these tee shots and recorded 2 3putt pars, sadly. 17 alone is as much fun and wild as a par 4 can be. 305y, 280 to the front with about a dozen different routes to take to get home. The green is a modern marvel all on its own at 36,000 square feet! Inspired by MacKenzie's famous Sitwell Park green, it's a site to behold! I found myself in The Milk Carton on 18 trying to go for the green in two. That trap is no joke and a monster! I made it out, but being a solid 15'+ below the putting surface had me sweating! Landmand needs to be on everyone's radar. It's truly amazing what they made here.

I got the pleasure of playing this yesterday and this place is phenomenal... The land that was transformed here is really special. You could blindfold someone and take them to the first tee and they probably wouldn’t guess they’re on the edge of Nebraska and only 20 mins from Sioux City. The size of the greens and the sloping made for some unwanted 3 putts, but it made for challenging golf and proper approach shots were needed in order to capitalize. The tee shot on 17 was my favorite. The size of the green was crazy to look at! It’s a course everyone needs to play. I’ll be back in the near future! Thanks for the great experience!
