Worthington Manor Golf Club

Fun course with greens that a lot of movement. This course may not be as manicured as others in the area, but the casual vibe allows for good discussion with other players and staff. The practice areas are close to the club house and well kept. Driving is not super tight but the rough is penal. This is a course you must play a few times before you can score as the knowledge of where to miss the green is huge or you will face virtually impossible up and down situations. Now the greens were running very quick the day we played (12.5 to 13 stimp, no joke) and we saw balls catch ridges and roll out 30 - 40 feet away from the hole. With course knowledge, you will also see the back stops/slopes that will help you move the ball closer to the hole. The par 3s were my favorite as they varied in length and you have a fun uphill hole on No. 8 and really fun downhill one on No 17 with the back tees at over 200 yards. There a couple of ball busting par 4s that you swear should be par 5s and then you have some strategic par 4s that will test your wedge game. Awesome swag gear with their logo and solid bar and restaurant to boot. The owner/GM is very friendly and care a lot about their course.

If you're looking for a challenging course, this is the place for you. These greens are unforgiving, and your putts will most certainly increase, but what a beautiful place to shoot 100 LOL. Great place Great condition Great staff Will return for more punishment 🫠

Worthington Manor is an excellent test of golf; you won’t be disappointed. Despite the recent aerification and 2 straight days of rain, the course was in great shape. I’ll definitely be back.

Cannot express how good this course was. From check in to finish it was all very well done and high quality. Great practice greens, chipping greens, and range with free balls. Great tees, fairways, rough, traps, and fast greens on a very challenging course. All around great value. Really good food at the restaurant inside (call before the turn). Everyone on the staff and regular members were super nice.Will definitely play again.

Fantastic course, very well maintained and awesome service from everyone involved. We had a great time playing this public gem in Maryland and will definitely return whenever in the area. Nice, tough layout with difficult greens but very fun to play.
