Course is in great shape overall. I can only remember one tee box that was shaded and the grass was thin. Interesting layout with a good mix of elevated greens, multi level greens and just some big greens with consistent slope. Most fairways are fairly wide with ample rough to cause some grief but support a reasonable pace of play.

1st time at Val Halla.
Excellent course. The fairways were amazing. Tight cut and green as could be. Great course layout. Very affordable.
Can't wait to go back again.

Great spot! Course layout is a bit unconventional, fairways and greens were in very good condition but they were hard and fast. Public course so pace of play can vary. Nice clubhouse with a restaurant and bar.
