Providence Golf Club

Played today on Easter Sunday. First out at 7.03 in the morning. Everything about the experience at Providence was positive. Had my little girl with me in the buggy and we were informed there was an Easter egg hunt on so she was happily looking for eggs as we went round. Course in in superb condition, tee boxes, fairways and greens as good as anywhere. If you are in the Davenport area and are looking for great golf at a friendly place at a reasonable price then providence will tick all your boxes. I will be back next time I am in Florida 🐊

My husband and I had so much fun playing golf today and when we drove the golf cart back Patrick and Cole greeted us and took care of our cart needs and were super nice! The course was in really good shape ! UPDATE 11/23/2024: played numerous times since previous review and it gets better and better !! Also ate in their fabulous restaurant inside the club and it’s fantastic! My husband and I sat on their outdoor patio and enjoyed their delicious club sandwiches and great beverages. Ask for Alejandra Jobson(Food &Beverage Manager & Banquet Coordinator) Update December 9,2024: My husband went to play golf at Providence Golf Club and I went to ride in the cart with him. Bruce who works in their Golf Club was so personable and helpful. It wasn’t a busy day and my husband only had 2 men playing ahead of him. We also had their very personable young woman (who I’m embarrassed to not remember her name) stop on the course to serve us a beverage. She had a ton of patience and was so helpful while my husband and I figured out what we wanted . In between the 18 holes my husband played we stopped at the Club and had lunch which was so delicious and great service ! Our son and family lives in this great community of Providence Golf Club and we love it here!!

Great value for money with green fee of just $60 including cart and made to feel very welcome at Providence golf club. Played with my 11 yr old son who got a discount green fee $35. Shop staff great at check in and 'Santa' the starter very helpful trying to fit everyone in on a Saturday morning. Had the pleasure of regular player John joining us which helped with local knowledge and great company. It's a great course layout and plenty challenging. I played from the blues which made it fun but the blacks would be even more of a test. Condition was fine, they are working to improve things constantly but it's perfect for the price point. It's not Bay hill quality tees/greens but it's plenty good enough and great value. Greens putted very well, true and sensible breaks in them. Good comfy carts as well, coolers for water all round the course and the beverage cart was round 3 or 4 times as well. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

September 2nd, 2024. They need a ranger over a cart girl. The idiots in front of us had no idea how to play golf and were hitting 2 to 3 balls, each hole putting us 30 minutes behind. It took 5 hours to golf, and that's a total joke. We deserve a round for free after this total joke of a day.

2nd time playing this course. Had a good time. Played horribly but enjoyed the round and the course. The greens were in amazing shape. The fairways we ok but considering it's dry season, they were is good shape compared to other courses around. Wish I could have played better but I'll be back for sure!
