Perry Park Country Club

This country club is a charming one on a beautiful golf course with a wonderful community! Food and service are delicious and golf is world class!

I regret having to leave this review, but feel compelled to share my experience after being a member of Perry Park Country Club for five years. Despite always paying all dues in full at the beginning of the year, the club charged us $346 for 2025 membership fees after we had already had a conversation with a membership employee explaining we would get back with her, explaining we had to discuss the 2025 renewal due to relocation. The most shocking part was the General Manager's tone-deaf response to our situation. When we explained that our cancellation notice (in writing) was merely 6 days past their bylaw requirement, instead of showing any understanding, he responded with an irrelevant personal story about being hospitalized in college and having to pay extra rent, offering "rules are rules" as an explanation to us being billed. The complete lack of empathy and dismissive "rules are rules" attitude was astounding for a club that claims to value its members. While there was a brief, 6-day delay in our formal cancellation in writing over the holiday period, we promptly contacted club staff upon receiving the January invoice. Instead of working with us reasonably, management rigidly enforced their 30-day notice policy - charging us for services we couldn't even use since the club was closed in January. To make matters worse, rather than simply refunding our credit card, they suggested crediting the charges to another family member's account—an absurd solution that shows how out of touch their management is. We were told by the Membership Director they could not reverse a charge put on a credit card even if they were going to refund the January dues. While the course itself is nice, this inflexible and impersonal approach to member relations, especially from senior management, left a bitter taste after our years of membership. I'd strongly encourage prospective members to carefully review all bylaws and cancellation policies before joining, as they are enforced to the letter regardless of circumstances or common sense. Unless, of course, the bylaw doesn't have to do with money, then they are never enforced.

We just got married here this past weekend and let me tell you, the experience was out of this world! We fell in love with the views but Katelynn helped us make our final decision. She was incredibly helpful leading up to wedding day and stayed close by the whole night making sure my husband and I, as well as our family and friends had everything we needed to enjoy the evening. The views are amazing, the food was incredible and I am SO glad we got to celebrate our special day at PPCC. We are so grateful to Katelynn and the rest of the incredible staff for such a wonderful experience from start to finish!

We have been social members at Perry Park County Club for several years. It is a wonderful club with great food, drinks, music,, friendly people and staff. I don’t play a lot of golf, but the course is stunning. And to the “local guide “ who was dissing management for not giving you a freebie, including one of the nicest guys you will ever meet (Kevin), go be a “local guide” elsewhere. To the rest of you, Come join the fun!
