Canaan Valley Resort Golf Club

In reality this is the only half decent golf course in this area. Is generally in good condition. Both greens and fairways were in good condition. It's fairly generous off the tee. There are a number of different teas so it can play to about any length you want. But it's not the most well-designed golf course. And being a resort course it is open to a lot of play by golfers who don't play very quickly. We were there on a Saturday in July and it took 5 hours. When we got to number 10 there were a total of four groups waiting to tee off. We played again the next day in a little over 4 hours. There was a beverage cart only on Sunday which made no sense to me. We only saw her twice and the drinks weren't cheap. Because there are elevation changes some design work could be done that would make this a much better golf Course.

This is one of the most beautiful and well kid out courses you will play. The staff is very accommodating. You must play!

The Canaan Valley Golf Course is excellent. Everyone is so nice and Ms. Holly in the club house was great! She is so nice and worked to accommodate me as a walk in with no Tee time. The course is very well maintained, the views are amazing and the rest of the staff are great to work with. If you get a chance to play a round or two, keep your fingers crossed that “good golly” Ms. Holly is there to take care of you.

One of my favorite golf courses ever! This course is in amazing condition. Views are unlike any other. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Go play!

We had a fun day with beautiful weather at Canaan Valley Golf Course! The staff was down to earth and attentive. The park superintendent discussed the “course bear”. It was my first time seeing one in person and it was interesting to hear the history of him. The course was in pristine condition and the arts were clean and functional.
