Immaculate condition, great views fun layout and top notch service. Pro V1 practice balls are a nice touch.

Played 10/6/23 2 HCP Pace of Play 4:15 Great layout with beautiful hill country views. Challenging but fair, every hole is memorable. Pro shop and staff were kind. Greens were shaggy and dead in a handful of spots. For a $245 tee time, greens have to be better, especially in October. Cart died on 14th hole.

Course is in good shape. Greens are soft and surprisingly fast. Members only course.

Outstanding experience! Incredible staff. Comfort cottages on the course were very accommodating. Course was in great shape for late winter golf. Greens were slick, smooth, and consistent. Can’t wait to come back and play after the bunker renovation!

My spouse and I played Summit Rock Golf Course in June with Tournament Director Rob McCall. The course is playable but challenging. The greens are immaculate and large enough to give encouragement to high handicappers. The changes in elevation from low valleys to rough limestone and granite ridges add to the challenge. The hill country views of Lake LBJ and Packsaddle Mountain are breath taking. Rio Grande Turkey, White Tail Deer, BobWhite Quail and other wildlife are abundant and visible particularly in the late afternoon. The air-conditioned rest areas are wonderful and offer a variety of refreshments and snacks. They are more like mini-clubhouses than rest stops. It is difficult to leave the comfort and get back to the golf course on a hot muggy spring afternoon. This is golf course anyone who loves the game must play. It is a complete golf and nature experience. Okay, so I didn't break 90 (thanks to some well placed sand and water) but I had rather play this course and shoot a mediocre score than break 80 on most courses I have played.
