Top 5 public golf courses in New England perfect conditions during early Nov must be nice during peak season, a little pricy but it’s worth it

Stunningly beautiful course but not worth the money. I wanted to walk it and called ahead to ask and a staff member told me it would be ok. When I checked in, I was told absolutely not, due to "Policy". Thing is, I played on a Monday twilight and saw maybe 7 golfers total my entire round. I went stretches of 4-5 holes without seeing anyone. There were even walkers out but apparently you have to be a member to walk. Nothing like stupid, arbitrary rules at a $150 to $175/rd price point to make you want to come back and play, right?

Very pricey, the clubhouse is small and a bit old, BUT, it was a first time experience for me and once you get onto the course you then say ok wow this is worth it. Immaculate conditions and the service was A1.

Gorgeous course with amazing conditions. Full layout with challenging target shots required. Only reason for only 4 stars is because the price didn’t match the clubhouse/amenities. 150$ for a round is what I paid. Club house is essentially a couple of trailers built together. No driving range and no practice bunker. One average sized putting green. Call me crazy but for 150$ I want to hit a bucket of balls before I play. Rumors are they’re building a new club house and 9 hole track. If that happens it’ll definitely be worth the price (assuming they don’t raise it much)
