Here is a little trivia about Club House Road, the road you turn onto off of Powell Butte Hwy. The road is set up like most military roads, curvy. Roads are curved for several reasons such as following a river or a mountain or to go around an object. On military bases the roads are curved to prevent enemy aircraft from lining up on several vehicles or personnel in a row. The pronghorn road is mostly asphalt but it does have bricks crossing the road. These indicate you have traveled 1 mile.

Great location. The Iris has nice dining options. The views from the resort are stunning. We enjoyed our brief stay.

Just didn't seem very inviting. No good signage... had to hunt for check in... for golf shop. No smiles, except for the starter on #1, he was cool. Had great time golfing. Great views and tremendous placements.

Pronghorn was really special. Very first class experience overall from the first greeter in the parking lot, to the pro shop staff, to the starter and food service folk. Definitely an expensive golf course, but very much worth it. The golf course is both challenging and playable. Green's had plenty of slope with interesting pin locations, without being over the top difficult. Conditioning was excellent, and multiple holes stood out as spectacular. This is definitely in the top tier of any golf course you will ever play. Very much splitting hairs, only slight negative would be a lack of variety in the length of the par 3 is based on the pin position and t position on the day that I was there. Already planning my next trip back!

What a great resort golf course, fairways were in excellent condition, the greens seemed to have some minor issues, but still good. Fantastic views and provides sufficient challenges. Unfortunately, there are more houses being built, which means it will loose some of its natural feel. Beautiful club house! The practice facilities are also top notch!
