US Open course, enough said. Greens fast and hard to stick. Fairways were unbelievably good. Play from tees according to your handicap and you will have a fun day. It's hard to lose a ball. To get the most out of your round, use a caddie. Mine was friendly, helpful, and fun

There are no words to describe the course. It lives up to all the hype. Fair and fun. Make sure you get caddies it adds to the experience greatly.

A super fast course at least for the 2024 US Open on 6/15/24 (day 3 of 4) when I went. Wonder if some of the golfers might complain! Birdies were hard to come by. But yeah this was a great experience and we had access to the champion's pavilion, great complementary buffet. The trolly from parking at lot R was easy and quick. And walk was like 5 min. Water lines were a little long, maybe 10 min. Concessions were basically no line.

Here's an important FYI about Pinehurst #2....pictures don't come close to telling the story. It reminds me of a beautiful woman who doesn't look so great in pictures, but when you see her in person, you can't take your eyes off her. That's Pinehurst #2. I'll be posting a few pics with this review, but they just cannot capture the beauty and the essence of this course. PH #2 gives you room to play, but it requires that you pay attention and that you understand how to address it. Disregard those requirements and you're in for a long day. Stay true to them, and it will reward you with an unforgettable day on the course. Be aware that "pin-seeking" is ONLY suggested for scratch golfers (which I am not). Anything that is not in the middle of the greens is likely to roll off those lovely crowned greens and make you work for it coming back. After your round, make sure to grab something to eat at the Deuce....the food is great and the prices are more than reasonable.

Now this course delivers ! You will learn why it's a u.s open course. So pure, cool caddys and stunning tee shots. Go into this with putter off the green in mind . I never do that but Donald Ross left me no choice. Must play at some point in life
