My wife and I played this course for the first time (and only time) back on 30 Oct 2020 and because I didn't remember the course all that much, I wanted to return for another round. I do, however, remember that we loved this course when we played the first round, but as you're aware, there are so many golf courses in Las Vegas (LV) that sometimes things run into each other in your head, and why not just return for another round to refresh your memory? Well, that's what we did on 19 Apr 2025 when we played at Highland Falls Golf Club for our second venture on this course.
I made a tee time for 2:30 and the folks here were able to get us out slightly before our scheduled tee time, which was appreciative because we arrived extremely early and had plans later that evening. The guy working the pro shop was outstanding (wish I got his name), but truly professional, friendly, personable, and highly efficient at his job. The rates for LV residents were reasonable - so no complaints there. The golf carts appeared to be brand new because they were in an immaculate condition. However, I did wish the carts had GPS or a range finder installed to help with yardage - but that wasn't a show stopper either. The beverage cart stopped a little earlier than desired, but since it wasn't a hot day, I wasn't too bummed about it.
The course had a great layout with fairways wide enough to accommodate golfers of all levels. Although the course isn't that long, it's designed to make a lot of shots challenging to the average golfer. I'm not certain which hole is their signature hole but holes number 14 and 18 have the best views, in my opinion - hole 14 has a wonderful picture opportunity of yourself (or group) with the LV Strip in the background. So if the course is busy, this is a perfect opportunity to snap a photo while the group in front of you finishes (it's a par 3). The greens were in decent conditions, but some of them weren't in the best shape it could be. The bunkers were adequate; it's unfortunate I had to experience hitting out of a few of them during my round. I do wish people would rake the bunkers during their round because I saw so many footprints in the sand (no, not like the Garth Brooks song - see The Beaches of Cheyenne), which is so displeasing to see so many lazy golfers out there.
If you're one of those that enjoy wildlife, this course is certainly for you - there were so many rabbits, geese, ducks/mallards, and other species of birds throughout the course. At certain moments it felt like I was at a zoo and not a golf course. Regardless, it's entertaining and the wildlife doesn't bother you - just aggravating at times when you're trying to tee off and a goose hisses at you because you're in their territory.
Overall, I loved this course and what it has to offer. Is it the best course in LV? No. But between the staff, course conditions, scenery, driving range, carts, cost, course layout, bathroom accessibility, and cleanliness, it is sure to please any local or visitor that plays here for the first time. This is easily a low 5-star rating, but a 5-star regardless (since we're not rating things in decimal points). I will gladly return for another round in the future, but only after I try out their sister courses (Palm Valley and Eagle Crest) within the same area. I highly recommend Highland Falls to everyone!

I really liked playing this course, It is my best friend’s favorite course in Las Vegas. We both grew up in Oregon, so the feel of the course on the mountain terrain is very comfortable to us and is different from other courses in Las Vegas.
I just tried to make my friend a reservation for his birthday. I called the reservation line which ended up being a foreign call center. I believe I spoke to KG. Their connection was bad and he had an accent that I could not completely understand. However, I requested a tee-time for two locals, on Saturday, February 22nd. He said no problem let me get to that for you offered me 11:30 AM At $80 each. I said that was great thank you very much, KG came back a few minutes later and told me the tee-time was Sunday. Obviously, I said that would not work because I had requested Saturday. So KG went back into the system to look at and could only offer me 1:50 PM for $160 each.
I have been checking on these teetimes all week as I really wanted to book for my best friend and I next Saturday, February 22nd, for his birthday. The way the online system and the Reservation system is set up, It seems as if you really are not welcome at this Course unless you are a member. Best of luck to those of you who do try. There is no value in being charged $160 tourist rate for a twilight time that you won’t even be able to finish the round, Especially when you are a local.

Played - Early August
Time: 9:00 (had a 10:30 tee time)
Cost: $60 w/cart (Golf Pass Hot Deal)
Condition: Great for mid-summer
Staff: Friendly and helpful
Pace: 2hr 30min
Best Part - The Views!
Worst Part - Not much room to miss, slow greens
Range, Short Game Area, and Putting Green
A beautiful, but challenging course. Stunning views of the mountains and of the city. I was not expecting much for the price I was able to pay, and it really knocked my socks off. The condition was really good. The worst part were the greens - super slow and bumpy. I’m assuming this is normal for this time of the year.
I appreciate them getting me out the back upon arrival. It was nice to get done earlier and not feel pressure to play a certain pace.
Overall if you are looking for a more reasonable deal to sone of the other courses in the area, this place will certainly check the boxes.

Shout out to Highland Falls for being above and beyond. After trying about 20 public golf courses in Vegas this was the best so far. The worker gave us free range balls before our tee time and the lady filled up my large cup of water for free. The course and range is spectacular with glowing fairways, smooth greens and beautiful waterfalls all for $59. Each hole is different and the elevation creates nice city views.

Wow. This place is incredible. We came from Dallas and arrived very early. They were happy to accommodate and earlier tee time. The course has been plugged on the greens but we were amazed by the beautiful views of the surrounding hills. Great course. The sides are sloped toward the fairway. I hit 5 fairways that I would’ve normally been in the rough. We had so much fun. The starter, Marshall, beverage girl on the course, restaurant staff, and pro shop were all 100% customer service friendly.
