Went to play on a Monday afternoon. Players were just driving the course in any order, all par 3 tee boxes were under repair and temp tee boxes were in the rough on ridiculously uneven slopes. The 11th cup was in the middle of a washed out fairway section because the green was also under repair. No care whatsoever paid to course signage by other players. One of the few course that actually puts sand in the carts around Indy, but no one uses it. I will never return and recommend you go elsewhere. If you want a less busy course outside of Indy you’re better off driving west to Deer Creek or north to Trophy Club.

Beautiful golf course and friendly staff. Our foursome played the senior tees and our oldest player at 76 carded three eagles. The trio was a career high for Terry Schill. In fairness, one eagle came on a shortened number 10(playing 160 yards). Terry Schill hit 6 iron to within one foot on the temporary green then tapped in. Play the correct tees and have fun at this affordable, challenging hidden jewel.

It is November 9 and we made a tee time but no prices were available online. We get there and the price was pretty high, especially considering the time of year. The course was still charging their summer rates and it was 55 degrees and windy. The course itself is nice and plays tough but to be charging summer rates in the 2nd week of November is crazy. I stopped for a Powerade after 9 holes which was $4 which was just the cherry on top. I won’t be back

We arrived at about 815-820am and the pro shop/bar area has some older gentleman enjoying their coffee. They told us they already have the carts out and the pro shop would be open soon. Great! We thought. The pro shop opens up about 840am and everything seems okay. The greens keeper (if that's who it was), named Butch, comes in at 845am and informs everyone that because of "frost" they won't be allowing any tee times until 10am. At 845am the temperature is 40 degrees F and by the tee time (915am) it's should be well over that, especially with the sun well up by then. We ask, "we really can't get out before 10am? We drove an hour to check you guys out!?". We're met with a blank stare and a "well go run your finger across that car in the lot in the shade, that's called frost". So we drove an hour, met with a "good ol boys club" and told our tee time would be delayed by nearly an hour. So I ask whomever is at the front desk to cancel my tee time as we cannot accommodate a delay for "frost" when there is none. I'm met with "what's your tee time" from behind the glass in the adjacent room, and then ignored after I provide it. Here's the moral of the story. We drove an hour to play here, there's a frost delay for no reason as the sun is out and it's well above frost temperature, and when we express disapproval at the situation we're met with being ignored. We called Arrowhead in the car and we made a 918am tee time with NO visible frost on the fairways or greens. I'd love to play this course but after the attitude from the staff today and ridiculous policies I'll never be back and I'll be making sure every golfer I know doesn't go to play there either. EDIT: (5 days later) Still no response from the owners. That should be enough of an answer for you on whether you should play here or not. Drive the hour and go somewhere that actually will appreciate the business moving into the slow season.

Had just finished our round and was sitting in my car. Beautiful day and the course was in perfect shape. I had a few emails to answer and obviously didn't want to do that while driving. Head pro pulls up next to me and says "How long you gonna sit there?" I was a little startled, then he said, "I have to lock the gate". I apologized and promptly left. There was no - "sir I need to close up now" or "Sorry but we close at 6:00 in the Fall". Hours on Google Maps are listed as 9 am to 7 pm. The thing that upset me was that he acted like I was purposely causing him an inconvenience. I know it's not going to kill them if they miss my business. They probably will moving forward.
