The seaside course is truly an amazing test of golf. Especially when the elements are not perfect. I played it today January 20th, 2025 in a tournament setting and the pins were so difficult. But isn't that why we play golf, to have a good test? The seaside course in cool windy weather was definitely an amazing test of golf. Beautiful views, every hole seemed like it was a postcard. Got to give a course management everybody was so welcoming and did a great job.
I truly look forward to Coming back and playing again.

The guy at the gate today was extremely rude. I had my Sea Island pullover on that I purchased last year at the pro shop. I didn’t have a tee time but asked if I could go buy a new shirt at the pro shop. He said no and you’re trespassing already. Turn around and get out. Really? Not sure if he was having a bad day but that’s not how we handle those situations in Georgia.

I’ve been luck enough to play here twice and words can’t describe how pure this place is. From the lodge/restaurant to the practice areas and the most amazing test of golf where every hole is an experience and one I look forward to coming back to each time I’m driving away through the beautiful oaks.

I’m not a “Good” player by any means and this course is definitely a shot makers course. It seems short on paper but you need to miss in the rights spots on the fairway. If you’re in the rough then you have no chance of sticking it on those extreme fast greens. Brent Keller was my caddie that day and he was very very helpful. And it was also nice that he was friendly and patient with me. He definitely made that experience better. I hope to be back soon!
