Great golf course — both fun and challenging! The lake views are stunning, and I was amazed at how well maintained it is for a public course.

It can not be understated how fantastic the staff and hospitality of richter park golf course is. From top to bottom their care, attention to detail, selflessness and effort are unmatched. From Jon Pinto the pro who has such a thumb on the pulse of what it takes to be a modern golf pro, to the immaculate course maintenance, to the fantastic food and beverage service staff, this has to be one of the top public golf course not just in Fairfield county but all of Connecticut. Affordable. (Actually cheap for what they offer, but let’s not tell them that) great cknditions, gorgeous green complexes, fantastic manicured fairways, clean facilities, just top to bottom an unmatched experience. Thank you to everyone involved there.

Just played it last week. A little wet but a great golf course. Staff is terrific. Jon Pinto is a terrific pro. Brian is a great teacher. Go. Enjoy.

My review is not about the Golf Course itself, but about the Nature Trails. Very well maintained, extremely well marked, they offer a cool place to hike any time of the year. I like the Red trail, but the Blue trail is also quite nice since it takes you down close to the water. Nice place to take photos

I play plenty of golf at plenty of public and private courses.
In this area I can’t imagine any club coming even close to this one.
I mean wow , I couldn’t believe what a great place it was.
Service at the pro shop was incredible. The check in was easy and the staff did everything short of hitting my tee shot for me off the first tee. They even offered complimentary range balls for me to warm up with.
The club is in great condition. Scenery out of this world. And the play was moderate time of 4hrs 15 minutes. Certainly average. I did hear it could be a 5 plus hour round typically.
Even the rangers pulled up to me at a tee box and said “aim towards the tower, lay back on a 3 wood 200-230 tops , you’ll like what you get” SOAB I wound up 66 yards out. Perfect. It was a blind hole and my first time playing there.
I’ll say it like I see it. I’ve yet to play any public course this well maintained or well serviced. In the past 5 years.
I assure you ,,, you’ll say the same.
