Bear Valley Golf Course

Super fun and affordable driving range. $6 total for one bucket of golf balls to split between me and my partner. They did not charge us for the driver and iron rental, which I thought was very kind. This was my first time doing any kind of golfing (aside from mini golf), and I had a blast! Video attached is of my best drive of the day lol. I don’t even know where it landed, I was just thrilled with the trajectory 😂

I had some fun this past summer season here. It is a 9 hole course. They do a monthly ladies golf open to the public but do offer a discounted price to military active duty and dependents. They have golf carts and golf strollers you can rent. The course was well taken care of and the staff were friendly and informative. The views are beautiful but make sure you are ready for the bugs and the cell service is spotty. They have everything you need to golf (they have a small pro shop).

What a wonderful time we all had at the Wine and 9 event!! So much fun..Golf tips,Bucket of ball to get warmed up, Pancit,sushi,amazing watermelon and cantaloupe..cupcakes and Wine..and a wonderful staff that was very accommodating!!Thank you Bear Valley Golf Course for putting on a great event!

Honestly, for a small 9 hole course it was in quite good shape. The greens were much faster than I expected and of course the scenery is impeccable. When I was paying for my round I was talking to an employee who was wondering about cab companies on Kodiak. I used Kodiak Cab which has a higher google rating than the other cab company on Kodiak. What I would recommend to ownership of Bear Valley is to try to strike up a deal with Kodiak Cab. For example, have Kodiak Cab offer reduced rates to rides to the course and then the course can give Kodiak Cab a percentage of money made through rounds. Would potentially increase traffic to the course which it absolutely deserves!
