Sand Valley Golf Resort

I had the pleasure to dine at Sand Valley Golf Course - The Gallery - at a special event Tour of Italy dinner and wine pairing. The wines were paired perfectly with each course and explained by the sommelier and chef for each course. Each course was devine, but the Butternut Squash and Tortillini paired with the 2021 Lodali Chardonnay was exquisite. I would recommend attending a wine dinner pairing in your future

We ate at the Gallery for dinner on a recent Saturday evening. This Italian restaurant is on the Sand Valley property and serves delicious pasta and pizza along with daily specials. This is the fourth time we have visited and most everything was consistent with the exception of a grilled chicken breast that was part of a Tuscan Chicken special. The pasta and sauce were delicious but the chicken was so dry we couldn't eat it. All our other dishes, short ribs, chicken Parm and pizzas were delicious.

The golf courses are amazing and they are the real stars here. The service was a bit uneven; mostly excellent and professional but on more than a few occasions, aloof and detached.. On the other hand, the food is solid and the $1 brats on the golf course is a stroke of genius. On a scale of one to five the golf is a SEVEN! The courses are beautiful and the conditions are immaculate. The caddies I had were both amazing. If this were merely a golf review it would be a no brainer 5 star. Our room was modern, comfortable, and the bathroom was super functional and spacious. Also, we had a nice patio overlooking the “ sandbox”’ Overall, in my opinion , it’s a four star resort that’s very near to a five star resort.

Sand Valley is by far the most gorgeous, friendly, and affordable golf resorts I’ve ever been to! The grounds were pristine, the staff were always willing to help and kept a smile on their faces. The lodging was impeccable, and the food was amazing from the restaurants to halfway houses on the course. The caddies made us feel so welcomed, were very knowledgeable, and extremely encouraging. Special shout out to our favorite caddies Josh and Joseph because that duo is second to none. Dan the man was the go to guy on the resort and could answer any question you had and accommodate any request you could fathom. This golf resort was the best experience I’ve ever had, and I will definitely be back to visit.

Sand Valley was absolutely amazing. The level of service from everyone to the starters to the waiters/waitresses is outstanding. Course conditions were 10/10. Our group really appreciated this level of care we got at the price we paid. Can always respect a business with this level of dedication and not price gouging their customers for $350+ rounds. This course/facility was better than any $400+ round location our entire group has played
