The staff at the cafe is very friendly. There are 2 courses. Tournaments of 144 + fit in the common room easily. They have an outdoor deck with many hummingbirds in the summer. Every time I’m here there is wildlife (deer and lots of wild turkeys!). A great course to visit in the fall for foliage color changes. Campground next door too.

Wasatch Golf Course in Midway, Utah, holds a special place in my heart, bringing back fond memories of golfing with my dad. My recent visit last fall was a wonderful experience, as the course was in fantastic condition, just as I remembered it. The Wasatch Mountain State Park Golf Course features two distinct 18-hole layouts: the Mountain Course and the Lake Course. Both courses offer unique challenges and stunning views, making every round an enjoyable adventure. During my visit, I played both courses and was impressed by the meticulous maintenance and pristine condition of the fairways and greens. The fall foliage added an extra layer of beauty, with vibrant colors enhancing the already picturesque surroundings. The Mountain Course is particularly challenging, with its elevation changes, tight fairways, and strategically placed hazards. It requires precise shot-making and careful course management, keeping you on your toes throughout the round. The Lake Course, while slightly more forgiving, still offers plenty of challenges with its water features and well-placed bunkers. Both courses provide breathtaking views of the Wasatch Mountains, creating a serene and inspiring golfing environment. The facilities at Wasatch Golf Course are top-notch, with a well-stocked pro shop and excellent practice areas. The staff is friendly and professional, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience from start to finish. Playing at Wasatch Golf Course last fall not only provided a fantastic golfing experience but also brought back cherished memories of times spent with my dad. It’s a place where the beauty of nature and the love of the game come together perfectly. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking for a memorable round of golf in a stunning setting.

I've played a lot of beautiful courses in my day and this one is right up there with some of the best. The view up the mountain and coming back down is awesome. Played from the blue tees and the course wasn't overly hard (actually fairly easy with the 5 par-5s), but it was super fun and scoreable. Guy I played with birdied all 5 par-5s which was great to watch. Highly recommend this course if you're staying anywhere near.

What a gorgeous course. Absolutely beautiful views in every direction. Some really fun holes, and the course is in great condition. The greens were in great shape too. Hard to believe that this is a state-run course. It’s gotta be a top 10 course in the state. Only cons: bad service, which means the GPS didn’t always work. The water refills are pretty inconsistent, as well, and the cart paths aren’t in the best shape.

Incredible golf course. It’s public and great value sometimes campers will come over and play and really slow down the pace of play but other than that no flaws. Club house is very nice the staff is incredible and the cafe has a nice beer selection. The views are some of the best in state. I prefer the lake course but the mountain one is just as as nice.
