Played the 2023 Holston Hills Invitational October 9-10 2023. My first time on this beautifully restored to nearly the original Donald Ross gem. If you appreciate Ross designs don’t pass on an opportunity to play it. Bent greens with Bermuda fairways and surrounds make this outstanding design play perfectly while the Bermuda is thriving in the late summer early fall. October was perfect! Outstanding sight lines and high shot values playing into fast undulating greens. Plenty of elevation changes on this awesome piece of property. Very reminiscent of some of very best Ross designs I’ve played in Pinehurst.

This is the most beautiful Country Club. The golf course, Club house and pool are amazing. Jim & Staff are the most wonderful people to work with in planning a wedding. The Food at the last two weddings were AMAZING!!! Thank you Jim & Staff. Jim is 2nd to none in organizational skills!

For the most part the golf course is wonderful. Greens are nice, general lay out is fun, but the sand bunkers are awful. Mostly clay and hardly any sand. Everything thing else about the course was really good.

Lovely and well kept grounds and a challenging course.
